SSV Network DAO, the decentralised autonomous organisation overseeing the SSV Network protocol, recently announced two unique initiatives to increase community engagement: the SSVDivers Ambassador Programme and the Community Associates Programme. These programmes encourage active engagement and provide concrete rewards for community involvement, thereby improving the ecosystem of decentralised staking.
The SSVDivers Ambassador Programme is designed to benefit the SSV Network community by harnessing its members’ unique abilities. This effort provides community members with resources and standards for proposing and managing personal projects that align with their interests and the SSV Network’s objective. This program instils a sense of ownership and pride in participants by allowing them to pursue personal projects such as establishing node operations or generating educational content.
For example, LinkoPlus, a community ambassador, has started a project to build a node operator on a Rock5b board that will run on the Holesky test network. His endeavour displays the practical implementation of SSV technology and inspires and guides others on their Ethereum staking adventure. This personal touch in project management and execution embodies Ethereum’s basic concept and demonstrates the growth and promise of the SSV community.
The Community Associates Programme is another strategic effort by SSV Network DAO to strengthen community ties and broaden the network’s reach. This programme encourages members to participate in various marketing, content development, and localisation activities, promoting the SSV Network both within and outside the community. Participants are rewarded for their efforts with multiple incentives, including monetary compensation, limited-edition items, and community recognition.
This structured involvement will last at least a year, giving participants a consistent platform to contribute creatively while increasing their personal and professional development. The program’s design represents a complete approach to community building, with each member’s input appreciated and rewarded, resulting in a vibrant and engaged community atmosphere.
To commemorate the introduction of these enrichment programmes and the achievement of one million ETH staked, SSV Network DAO has organised a special community call on their Discord channel. The event will include a 500XP raffle to celebrate ambassadors who have substantially contributed to the community’s growth. This celebration recognises the SSV Network’s achievements and catalyses further community engagement and enthusiasm. Such events are critical for keeping momentum and passion in the community, making anniversaries memorable, and promoting ongoing participation and contribution.
Elad Gafni, the SSV Foundation’s Operations Manager, has emphasised the necessity of community involvement in the widespread implementation of SSV technology. He noted that the new programmes are essential for improving the technical foundation and for utilising the community’s different abilities to promote awareness about the possible applications of DVT modules in ETH staking. According to Gafni, these programmes provide practical ways for the community to participate directly and receive recognition and rewards for their efforts. His thoughts emphasise the strategic importance of community-driven growth, as well as the role of practical involvement in attaining the SSV Network’s technological and educational objectives.
SSV’s Distributed Validator Technology is at the heart of their objective to improve the security and efficiency of decentralised stakeholding. By allowing ETH validator nodes to be geographically distributed over different machines, SSV strengthens the staking process. Over 720 decentralised node operators use the technique, securing over 32,000 ETH validators.
This infrastructure is crucial for creating new applications and services to boost the staking ecosystem centred on Ethereum and its Layer 2 networks. With the addition of SSV nodes to the Lido Simple DVT module, SSV Network is paving the way for creative staking applications that will dramatically improve the scalability and security of the Ethereum blockchain.
